CHAMBOLLE MUSIGNY Premier Cru
Les Fuées
2019
- Description of the appellation
Chambolle takes its name from the bubbling appearance of the "Grône" stream after a storm. In 1878, the name of the village was supplemented by the name of its best Cru Musigny. This A.O.C. exists only for red wines and has a total surface area of 182 hectares.
- Geological profile
The plot is located right next to the Grand Cru Bonnes-Mares. "Fuée" is a Burgundian word for the area that a man can work in a day with his hoe. The vines are planted on a rather stony soil composed of marl. The limestone bedrock that dominates this vineyard is quite fissured.
- Vinification & Aging
Bio-lunar… At each stage, all our work follows the rythm of the Moon’s synodic revolution… And we are fully committed to the principles of organic farming in the management of our vines.
Aging : 100% in terracotta.
- Food & Wine Pairing
